I haven't used these a ton since I just got them. So far they were easy to setup, battery life is great & the range is amazing. I can't believe how far they reach. Sound is crystal clear with plenty of volume. I would say the best handheld radio I have used.

I was having a compatibility challenge with an old Icom radio and a new Rugged 364 intercom module. I called tech-support multiple times and each time spoke to very competent and professional (human/English speaking) technician who tried to help me. Ultimately they determined I should send in both units so that they could bench test and make adjustments. I received the units back a week or so later and reinstalled them and now they work perfectly! My only regret is not buying my radio from Rugged and skipping all the compatibility issues with my old radio. Bravo Rugged!

No audio heard right out of the box. Transmit only but no received. Below expectations and unsuitable.

No instructions and lots of questions. Piecing YouTube videos together to get the install done.

I purchased this radio in hopes of using it right away. In reality it’s been 3 weeks and I’ve yet to figure out how to use it, guided by the enclosed instructions. I bought this and some V3’s and have yet to broadcast on any of them. Would it be too much to ask for logical easy to understand operating instructions?
